One of the things that draws me to print is my fascination with paper and lettering. While other sit and doodle elves or mushrooms or cats, I find myself quite often, when I'm on the phone writing out words the other person is saying and elaborating on each letter. At this very moment, I am in search of the very luminous yet matte paper board that Apple uses for it's iPod packing, and I'm wondering if I can convince friends to buy me some fonts for Christmas, or even just donate to the cause. My current favorite font designer is Alejandro Paul, and I am craving some of his lovely things, particularly the Burgues Script.

Ryan Parman - Front End Developer

I discovered Ryan after breaking in his Simple Pie code for my own personal site. I liked the way he displayed his portfolio, which I think is rather useful.
Lyndsay Johnson
I love looking at the work of other designers, cause you never know what you might see or just how it might inspire you. This is the work of Lyndsay Johnson, and what is so interesting about it as a collection is the vast difference between her corporate brochures and her scrapbook paper designs.

Inspired Web Site Designs - Whimsy
Now I firmly believe that all web sites are not created equal. You really shouldn't put too much whimsy into an web site for a company selling safety equipment. In some ways these sites are easier to create. The ones where imagination can really run wild can be so difficult, because you want to capture the spirit of the company without inhibiting their message with that free spirit. So I came upon this website for an ice cream parlor. And...it might be just perfect.
The "menu" is somewhat difficult to read while being fun to read. Clicking through the content they continued the theme as they did with the large "One" on this page. I'm drawn to read every page without having any reason to.
